Wine Appreciation Guild, America’s pioneering wine book publisher, was founded in 1973 in San Francisco during the heady years of the California wine revolution. Reformed in 2014 under Board and Bench Publishing, with the intent of expanding into broader food category and academic publishing, the innovative spirit that launched WAG is at the fore again, in the development of new forms of content delivery and educational materials.

Cookbooks, travel handbooks, wine tasting guides, spirits and mixology, history and essays, we have a deep and broad line of food and wine books, in both physical and electronic form. Board and Bench textbooks often deal in subject matter that other publishers have yet to catch up to, presented in a format best suited to the content. After all, 40 years should count for some savior-faire.
