Rights and Permissions

If you are interested in acquiring translation or reprint rights submit your inquiry using the form below. Please note that Board and Bench Publishing does not grant options to independent translators.

Author Submissions:

As described in our About page, Board and Bench publishes a broad range of wine and food category titles. If your project meshes with ours, submit your proposal below. Type “author proposal” in the subject line. Briefly describe the scope and themes of your project, the envisioned format and the intended audience. If we feel there’s a fit, our editor will contact you and request a prospectus. Please do not mail hardcopy manuscripts to us before one is requested by our acquisition editor.

Instructors Desk Copy Policy:

If you are interested in reviewing a book for possible adoption, review our Examination Copy Policy below. If you have adopted a title, you are entitled to a free desk copy.

If your examination copy request is accepted, you will receive the book and an invoice with payment terms of 90 days. If the book is adopted and an order roughly equal to your class size is placed, the examination copy is yours, free of charge. If the order is routed through an indirect channel, such as a wholesaler, a copy of the purchase order will suffice. If the book doesn’t suit your needs, return it to Board and Bench in marketable condition and the invoice will be cancelled.

Digital Media

All downloads of eMedia are fulfilled through a link emailed to your registered email address. If you encounter any problems with the download process, use the form below contact us.

Physical Books

Please allow 3-5 business days for processing and fulfillment. When your order ships you will receive an email with package tracing information.

Returns Policy

We accept the return of print books within 15 days of delivery, provided they are in the same condition in which they was delivered. If the reason for your return is due to our error, we’ll pay your return shipping. Please confirm your intentions using the form below.

Returns Instructions

After your return request has been approved, please make life easier on our returns department by including the original invoice with your return, and do the same for yourself by using a traceable means of shipping, in case proof of delivery is needed. And please don’t return items not authorized for return. To state the obvious, we don’t accept responsibility for items not originating from boardandbench.com .
